Summer is gone, fall is here, and this morning I observed slow drift on an HP 10811 quartz oscillator (for extra credit observe the slug follows the classical Allan Deviation "bathtub" form: a slope of -1 until it hits the noise floor followed by a drift induced +1 slope).
